cmschat is for agencies and freelancers who build custom-coded websites and then spend years being the human CMS: someone wants a price changed, a photo swapped, a sentence fixed, and a developer has to open the repo.
With cmschat the site owner gets a chat box. They describe the change in plain language, and routine edits land as normal commits in the site's existing Git repository. Nothing is migrated and no headless CMS is bolted on; it works with Next.js, Astro, Hugo and plain HTML.
The developer stays in control. Text and images can be opened for editing; layout, code and SEO-critical elements stay locked or turn into a pull request for the team. Every edit is a visible, revertible commit. The same editing surface is available over MCP for an agency's own AI tools. Live at cmschat.ai.
